To Delete Internet Explorer on your Pc

" ! ! ! DON"T DELETE INTERNET EXPLORER IT IS PART OF WINDOWS REGISTRY IT COULD MESS UP YOUR PC , JUST DOWNLOAD THE NEW VERSION OF IT. OVERWRITE THE NEW VERSION OF INTERNET EXPLORER OVER THE OLD ONE ! ! ! "

!!!! I MYSELF RUN INTERNET EXPLORER 5.01, YOU CAN USE INTERNET EXPLORER 5.5 TOO HAVE HEARD FROM ALOT OF PEOPLE ONLINE THEY HAVE FOUND PROBLEMS WITH INTERNET EXPLORER 6. USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT.
BELOW IT WILL TELL YOU HOW TO TAKE OUT INTERNET EXPLORER 6, AND RESTORE IT TO YOUR OLD VERSION YOU HAD IN YOUR PC. I WOULD NOT SUGGESTING GOING BELOW INTERNET EXPLORER 5.01, SOME OF THE SITES ON THE WEB WILL NOT OPERATE RIGHT !!!!

To remove Internet Explorer 6 ( You can probably do the same with all versions of internet explorer) :

1)In Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs, and then click Internet Explorer 6.
2)Click Add/Remove.
3)Make sure the Restore the Previous Windows Configuration check box is selected, and then click Advanced.
4)Click Remove Folder Containing Windows Update Setup Files, and then click OK.
5)When prompted whether you want to continue, click Yes.

!!! THE HIGH ENCRYPTION IS GOOD FOR WHEN YOU BUY ITEMS OVER THE INTERNET WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD SOME SITES DON"T WORK WITH THIS OTHERWISE I WOULD KEEP INTERNET EXPLORER AT DEFAULT SETTINGS IT IS SETUP AT. USUALLY INTERNET EXPLORER HAS THIS BUILT INTO IT !!!!!

High encryption support for Internet Explorer 6
=================================

High encryption components are included for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6a. Windows Millennium Edition contains high encryption by default. To obtain high encryption support for Windows 2000, please visit Windows Update at: http://www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ or http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/recommended/
encryption/default.asp.

!!!THIS IS A EXCELLENT IDEA: Installing Internet Explorer 6 with Norton Protected Recycle Bin enabled, this usually comes with Norton Antivirus 2003. WHAT IT DOES IS SCAN YOUR RECYCLE BIN FOR VIRUSES AND YOU CAN DELETE ANYTHING IN THERE LIKE YOU USUALLY CAN !!!!

Installing Internet Explorer 6 with Norton Protected Recycle Bin enabled
====================================================

It is recommended that you disable the Norton Protected Recycle Bin before you install Internet Explorer 6 and that you empty the Norton Protected Recycle Bin before you run Setup. Before you empty the NortonProtected Recycle Bin, be sure you review its contents in case it contains any items you want to recover. You can re-enable this feature after Setup is complete. This is recommended because Norton Protected Recycle Bin will intercept the removal of temporary files that Setup is trying to delete, and you could run out of free space on your harddisk if your remaining free space is limited. This would cause Internet Explorer Setup to appear locked. For instructions on disabling and re-enabling the Norton Protected Recycle Bin, see the Norton Utilities Documentation.
